2012 Season Registration

Ages:

Players aged 5, 6 and 7 (as of August 1, 2012) are invited to play.

Practices will be held at Brighton High School. The program incorporates football instruction, practice and games into the sessions. This program will teach kids the basics of football and providing a positive team experience. Most of all, the program is focused on the kids having fun.

Cost:

The cost of the program is $65. All players will be provided with a jersey.

Registration is now open, so tell your friends and classmates!

Flag registration requirements:

For a complete registration, please bring the following:

1) A completed registration form. (Download the pdf here) Please note that the form is two pages and must be fully completed.

2) A copy of the athlete's physical, dated anytime after 8/1/2011.

3) A copy of the athlete's birth certificate.

4) A copy of a recent photograph of the athlete, showing their face clearly.

5) A check made out to the "Brighton Junior Barons" for $65.

Frequently Asked Questions about flag football:

Q: What equipment is needed?

A: Flag belts and footballs are all provided. Your coach will distribute these before each game. All you need is a mouth guard and any pair of sneakers or cleats will do. (No metal spikes!)

Q. Can I request my son/daughter be on a team with their friends?

A. Yes, you can request to put players together on teams. However, while we try to get everyone together on a team, this is not always the case.

Q: Can I request a coach for my son/daughters team?

A. Yes, you can request a certain coach, but it is not always possible to satisfy all requests.

Q. Can we still register our son/daughter even if we don't live in Brighton?

A. Yes.

Q: Are there any size or weight restrictions?

A: There are no size or weight restrictions for flag football.

Q: Will the kids play in the rain?

A: If it is light rain we will most likely play, this is still football! However, if it coming down hard we will postpone the games until a later date. Check the website and call your coach to see if the games are still on.

Q: I am interested in coaching. Who do I contact?

A: Sign up to coach at one of our registrations. All coaches must fill out a registration form and attend the coaches meeting that will be held before the season. Please contact Flag Football Coordinator Mike Connolly mconnolly@integratednano.com
