Volunteer Information:

Football & cheerleading is a family commitment. The organization depends entirely on the coordinated efforts of volunteers (you). As a parent you can expect that your children will receive quality coaching, will strengthen their values and bodies and will have an memorable season. To make that possible, the Junior Barons expect that each family volunteer for 5 hours (2 slots) per child participant.

Please keep in mind that there are numerous volunteers (coaches, board members) who spend more than 100 hours each year volunteering their time.
However, if your circumstances do not allow you to contribute your time, we provide the option of paying $150.00 as a buy-out. We discourage this and hope it is used only as a last resort.

Volunteer sign-up sheets will be available at registration. Slots will be filled on a first come/first served basis.

Volunteers needed for each HOME game:

2 - Play monitor

4 - Chain gang

4 - Concessions

2 - Merchandise

2 - 50/50

2 - Clean up

16 total volunteers needed for each game.

Remember, we have three games each Sunday. Therefore, we need 48 volunteers from our cheer and football families for each Sunday when we are home.

Please note: If you fail to fulfill your volunteer assignment, you will be subject to a $75 fee. Your child will not be allowed to participate in the next scheduled game if the fee is not paid. This policy will be strictly enforced this year.
